At London Arabia Organisation, we pride ourselves on our unique personal touch. Everything we do at our events and through our projects is designed to make a real impact in the lives of women and girls worldwide, build and strengthen relations between the UK and Arab world, and promote our sponsors as brands committed to making progress. We pay attention to the details and treat each person or business we work with as the highest priority.

ARAB WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS

For ten years we have been holding the Arab Women of the Year Awards in London to recognise and celebrate the remarkable Arab women that have been achieving outstanding things and paving the way for progress worldwide. This event raises these women to the highest possible platform to tell their stories and give them the recognition they so rightfully deserve. We hold the event annually in London to shatter stereotypes and misconceptions commonly held in the West about Arab women and Arab culture.

Over 70 outstanding women have been recognised for their achievements at this event. Unlike other awards, there are no set categories, and the only criteria is that the nominees are women of Arab heritage. We receive thousands of nominations annually, and from these the most deserving are selected regardless of their background or chosen field.

Beginning in 2024 as a celebration of London Arabia’s 10th Anniversary, the Arab Women’s Summit is a full day conference bringing together a powerful collection of innovative and visionary voices on the frontlines of progress from around the world. Indicative of its importance and significance the Summit is held annually in the iconic royal palace, Lancaster House.

Guests and speakers from around the world come together in this prestigious location to discuss the most pressing issues of the time. Unlike other women’s summits, the Arab Women’s Summit does not focus on where women are still being held back, but instead highlights the women leading the way in every field worldwide.

Speakers have included former Prime Minister Lady Theresa May, Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, Minister Nusrat Ghani, HH Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan Al Maktoum,  and many more world changers and leaders.

LONDON ARABIA ART & FASHION WEEK

London Arabia Art & Fashion Week is a large celebration of Arab culture through the mediums of art and fashion, with elegant fashion shows, pristine art galleries and insightful panel discussions. The art and fashion showcase displays not only important elements of Arab culture, but also the diversity of it. The event has become a staple of London’s thriving culture calendar.

The London Arabia Art & Fashion Week was the first event of its kind when it was first hosted in 2016, since then it has become an integral part of London’s thriving cultural calendar.

The Art & Fashion week is a showcase of the beauty and diversity of Arab art and fashion. Through an appreciation of art, we believe people gain a better understanding of one another and realise all they have in common as well as the beauty of having differences. Not only do the attendees have the chance to explore culture through a visual medium, but designers and artists have the opportunity to connect with leading brands and establish valuable networks.

Brand new and established designers and artists are welcome to display their work, the only requirement to apply is that they are of Arab heritage. Preference is given to women, to help provide them with the opportunity for success that they might otherwise never achieve.
